With Italian and local blood in his veins, Richard is our cosmopolitan General Manager. He'd been with us for a good few years, looking after The Alford Arms, before launching The Black Horse 18 months ago, so the Salisbury Pubs' ways are second nature to him. A naturally warm host, Richard's wit is guaranteed to put a smile on your face!

Richard wouldn't be without his right hand man, Andras who probably has the best English accent in the country! But can you guess where he's originally from? Andras works pretty hard looking after everyone in the place..... and of course keeps Rich out of trouble!

Matt, our Head Chef came to us with loads of experience, most of which had been gained in fantastic dining pubs, just like The Black Horse. His Brigade of chefs get just as excited as he does at the prospect finding some fantastic, local produce and cooking great food.

Let's not forget our genuinely friendly Front of House Team. A mix of old and new, they have a true feel for what their customers want. Lots of smiles, the odd joke and some good old-fashioned hospitality.
